Description:
As an expert within the Solutions Development function, you will guide and mentor a small team of Requirements engineers working on bids ranging from small product deliveries to complex systems and managed services.
How You Will Contribute To The Team
- Produce and manage the Requirements Management Strategy and Plan in a competitive business winning environment.
- Manage the Requirements and Compliance processes for bids, including maintaining the database of customer and supply chain (derived) requirements for bid solutions.
- Ensure that all requirements are covered by the Requirements Compliance Matrix (bid artefact) and that traceability of requirements to the solution is coherent and consistent across the range of solution artefacts.
- Ensure that the Verification Requirements Matrix (VRM) for the system, and User Requirements Matrix (URM) for Benefits Realisation, align to the System Requirements Document (SRD) and User Requirements Document (URD) respectively.
- Ensure that all verification methods align to the customer’s ITEAP. Support analysis of the customer’s evaluation process to ensure that compliance is comprehensively covered by the solution
About You
- You will have 5 or more years’ experience in a technical, telecommunications environment.
- Experience of requirements management within a complex bid or acquisition environment.
- Be able to drive the planning, scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for large, complex bids.
- Be able to select, adapt and implement appropriate requirements definition and management methods, tools and techniques.
- Have the skills to obtain input from, and formal agreement to, requirements from a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Be a confident negotiator, able to manage competing stakeholder priorities and conflicts.
- Have a proven ability in establishment of requirements baselines and managing changes to ensure changes to requirements are investigated and managed.
