Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated researcher to join the esteemed research team led by Prof. Yvonne Perrie at the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences. This is an excellent opportunity to become a part of a well-funded and active research group that focuses on the formulation, development, and manufacture of nanomedicines and particulate-based vaccine adjuvants.
Our team is currently engaged in the exploration of various nanomedicines, including lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, and polymeric nanoparticles, for the effective delivery of drugs and vaccines. In this role, you will contribute to the development of cationic liposomes with the ability to co-target H. pylori antigen and adjuvants to mucosal antigen presenting cells in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. These liposomes will be carefully formulated using microfluidic production techniques, allowing us to incorporate the desired antigens within the formulations for optimal protection within the GI tract.
If you are a self-driven researcher with a passion for advancing the field of nanomedicine and vaccine development, we invite you to join our team. Together, we will strive to make significant contributions to the field and improve healthcare outcomes.
