It is one of the leading departments of International Business learning and teaching in the world and offers specialised degree programmes that combine high academic standards with practical application in today's rapidly changing business environment. The International Business Department is also home to the Centre for International Business at the University of Leeds (CIBUL), one of the world's premier scholarly centres for international business and at the forefront of academia and practice. Research development is divided into eight main thematic areas: The Theory of the Multinational Enterprise; The Governance of Global Value Chains; Emerging Market Multinational Enterprises; International Business Policy, SDGs and Grand Challenges; International Business, Migration, and Society; Global Health and International Business; Cross-cultural Management, Diversity, and Inclusion: and Digitalization and International Business.
