Description:
SOAS University of London is seeking a Research Assistant in the Department of Politics and International Studies to support an upcoming Research Centres grant focused on Intergenerational Justice. This role is open exclusively to SOAS postgraduate or PhD students and will involve conducting an interdisciplinary literature review to underpin the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive literature review on Intergenerational Justice, focusing on the sub-themes of Care, Conflict, and Climate.
- Provide a detailed summary of current scholarship on the subject.
- Analyze these themes within the geographical contexts of East Africa, East Asia, and Western Europe.
- Support the development of a major Research Centres grant proposal for late 2025/early 2026.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be a SOAS postgraduate or PhD student.
- Strong research skills, particularly in interdisciplinary literature reviews.
- Knowledge of political science, international studies, and social justice.
- Ability to synthesize complex academic material into clear summaries.
- Experience in research grant preparation is an advantage.
