The research team will build on work carried out in the Netherlands, where a ‘Partner in Balance’ intervention has already been shown to reduce the burden and stress of caring for a family member or friend with dementia. The aim of the blended care initiative is to help dementia carers stay emotionally and physically well – which is crucial for both the carer and the person they support and care for.

You will work with children and young people to co-develop components of the CareCoach programme focussing on their needs and experiences, using experience-based co-design, then support the development of the suggested resources working with digital and other creators across UEA and beyond. You will be involved in collecting and analysing qualitative data using well defined methods.
