LJMU is offering an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate in the School of Computer Science and Mathematics. This two-year fixed-term role focuses on research in areas including Machine Learning/AI, Robotics, Cyber Security, Video Game Technologies, and Virtual, Augmented & Mixed Reality. The role is ideal for someone with a PhD and experience in research and development in these fields.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and development in the specified computing-related areas.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the School of Computer Science and Mathematics on research projects.
• Support the university’s strategy and objectives through innovative contributions to research.

Qualifications:

• A PhD in a computing-related subject.
• Research and development experience in one or more of the following areas: Machine Learning/AI, Robotics, Cyber Security, Video Game Technologies, Virtual, Augmented & Mixed Reality.
