The University of Warwick invites applications for two early post-doctorate research fellows in health services research, with a focus on women's health and tackling health inequalities. This role will involve working collaboratively with academics, clinicians, and professionals to deliver impactful research aimed at improving public health. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across the region and beyond to design and disseminate research aimed at improving public health.
- Conducting mixed methods research (both quantitative and qualitative) focused on women's health and health inequalities.
- Engaging with public and professional stakeholders to ensure research relevance and impact.
- Contributing to the development, delivery, and publication of research findings.
- Learning and consolidating research skills in a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment.
Key Requirements:
- Strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- A passion for working on health-related issues, particularly those affecting women’s health.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.
- Strong communication skills to engage with both the public and professionals.
- Post-doctorate researchers, either nearing submission of a PhD or having recently completed one (PhD conferred within the last year).
Person Specification:
- Experience: Prior experience in mixed methods research, preferably in public health or related fields.
- Education: A recently completed or near completion PhD in a relevant field.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficient in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Ability to work within a team and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
