Description:
The Semiconductor Research Group at the University of Warwick seeks a highly motivated Research Fellow to contribute to pioneering research in quantum magnetic sensors and advanced imaging systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on technologies that can revolutionize fields like medical imaging, navigation, geophysics, and materials science through unprecedented sensitivity in magnetic field detection. The role includes designing, microfabricating, and characterizing magnetic field sensor devices, contributing to the group's strategic direction, and disseminating research findings through publications and presentations. The ideal candidate will have experience in semiconductor physics, device fabrication, and characterisation at mK temperatures, with the ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
