Description:
As Research Operations Manager / Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Working to deliver the Insight Team strategy in collaboration with the team leaders
- Responsible for the commercial reporting and efficiency of the Insight team as a whole
- Supporting in the development of business with new and existing clients with proposal preparation and estimates
- Helping to standardise costs, ways of working and timelines to make the team more efficient and effective
- Reviewing processes, platforms and technology with a continuous improvement approach
- Quality control for all projects and output of Insights work
- Managing supplier relationships and performance
- Supporting in identifying recruitment needs and opportunities
- Responsible for the effectiveness of the Insights team and team efficiencies, looking at ways to streamline and improve processes and workflows
- Benchmarking industry trends – technology advances, tools with the view to investing in new equipment to ensure the company is at the forefront of research
We are looking for an Operations Manager / Project who has the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in the operational management or project management of a Research and Insights business unit within an agency environment
- Highly organised
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to report to a senior leadership team
- Strong commercial acumen with understanding of agency models, cost models and pricing strategies
- A continuous improvement mindset
- Evidence of implementing change programs and new processes
