Researcher Training And Skills Developer

Research culture is growing rapidly in importance across the higher education sector. This is an exciting opportunity and time to join the Research Culture team, based within the University’s Research and Enterprise Services Division. The role will manage the rollout of core training packages to support our researcher community in realising the University’s research ambitions.

You should be self-motivated, ideally with experience of researcher community needs and/or experience of rolling out training packages and integrating them across multiple departments' needs. You should have the ability to work flexibly across a number of different activities and the ability to quickly establish strong links with key teams within Research Services and to build networks across the University.

This role would suit an excellent communicator with a pro-active approach and the ability to plan and manage time and conflicting priorities. You must have the ability to manage your own workload and that of a team in order to deliver to competing deadlines and priorities and to work effectively under pressure with poise and professionalism, whilst being able to communicate effectively.
