Residential Waking Night Support Workers

Description:

We are looking for caring, positive, and professional Night Care Workers. Previous experience is desirable, but full training will be provided, you have a passion for providing care and support and working in a friendly and busy environment. It would be desirable to have the QCF Level 3 Children and Young People qualification, if not there would be the opportunity to work towards the Level 3 qualification and enrolment for the L4 apprenticeship component. About the role

As a Night Care Worker, you will be attending to the needs of the adults/ children during the night some may have additional needs, domestic duties and appropriate record keeping in accordance with legislation and regulation. Another member of staff will sleep in the unit and can be disturbed if there is an emergency.

To respect and promote the needs of each child, young person and adult arising from their racial, cultural, and religious background.

To maintain appropriate records on the child, young person and adult and ensure that information is passed onto other members of the team.

To administer medication and simple medical procedures for the young people as appropriate, and a willingness to undertake training if required
