Resource Operations Director

Description:

The Resource Director will work closely with department and client leads, project managers and business managers to identify planning and project management resource needs and ensure projects are staffed for success. It is important the Resource Director does not hide behind process and shows strong integrity, energy and enthusiasm to multitask while also being able to motivate, inspire and lead teams in a collaborative way.

As part London’s operations and resourcing team, you’ll also support the agency’s operational excellence overall, helping develop and implement best practices to optimise resources, ensure client satisfaction, and maximize profitability across accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing our Health and Tech resourcing pool of circa 120 people, optimising resourcing needs between the regions.
• Work with client leads/project managers, people managers and business managers to assess planning and project management needs on upcoming projects/retainers
• Manages project assignments within and across resource pools, serving as the single point of contact for client teams to fulfill specific resourcing needs
• Both are resource pools of PR client service accounts professionals NOT creatives and the way these teams are resources is different to creative.
• Health experience would be a bonus
• Solid stakeholder managing experience is a must - looking for gravitas, can hold your own when needed whilst also being great at building trusted relationships with client leads and other stakeholders.
