Restaurant Supervisor

Description:

The Bar and Restaurant Supervisor will oversee daily operations of Malmaison’s bar and restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction. This role involves managing the flow of service, coordinating with the kitchen and management team, and delivering memorable guest experiences. The position requires flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as Malmaison operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Opportunities exist for internal career progression, including potential advancement to Head of Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise bar and restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and controlled service.

• Coordinate with kitchen and management teams for seamless guest experiences.

• Uphold high standards of hospitality and service, creating memorable guest experiences.

• Train and mentor staff through brand-specific and nationally recognized apprenticeship programs.

• Assist in scheduling and shift management to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.

• Support internal development and career progression initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in busy restaurants and/or bars.

• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous.
