They are currently seeking a Retail Supervisor for their Dorchester location to work on a 24-hour permanent contract. This role is crucial in supporting the store management team in the daily operations of the store, upholding customer service excellence, and leading a team of Sales Advisors.

As a Supervisor, you will hold key responsibilities including leadership during store hours, ensuring smooth store functioning, and maintaining high standards in customer engagement, merchandising, and operational compliance. You will be the acting leader in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, making this a great stepping-stone for future progression within retail management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective support to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager by leading the store team and ensuring exceptional customer service.

  • Act as the key-holder responsible for the store during shifts when senior management is not present.

  • Guide the Sales Advisors in upselling, omni-channel solutions, and recommending complementary products and services.

  • Monitor and achieve store KPIs, sales goals, and customer engagement benchmarks.

  • Execute visual merchandising plans in accordance with brand guidelines and use sales insights to optimize product displays.

  • Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about Seasalt's product range, seasonal collections, brand ethos, and service offerings.

  • Help manage all operational aspects such as stock handling, loss prevention, health and safety compliance, GDPR, and cash handling.

  • Support with incident reporting and ensure store safety standards are consistently upheld.

  • Deliver ongoing coaching and feedback to the team, encouraging learning, development, and high-performance culture.


Candidate Profile:

  • Natural team leader with prior experience in retail supervision or a related customer-facing role.

  • Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.

  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and work towards KPIs in a fast-paced retail setting.

  • Calm, adaptable, and resilient under pressure, with a problem-solving approach to operational challenges.

  • Confident in providing feedback, sharing commercial ideas, and contributing to store success.

  • Passionate about customer experience and brand representation.
