Description:
Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a skilled Revenue Accountant to join its finance team as part of a multi-year Finance Transformation Programme aimed at enhancing efficiency, improving data analysis, and strengthening business support processes. Reporting to a Finance Manager, the successful candidate will become a subject matter expert on revenue generated from mutual fund ranges, working closely with internal teams and external information providers. The role involves accurately accruing revenue on a monthly basis, invoicing funds, producing detailed commentary and variance analysis, and ensuring precise reconciliations. The position also includes responsibilities as a legal entity controller for regulated entities and liaising with auditors.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, independent working capabilities, and the ability to challenge and improve processes. A results-driven approach, combined with the ability to meet strict deadlines, is essential. Candidates must be fully qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong interpersonal skills and an analytical mindset. Experience in investment management, financial services, SAP, and global organizations is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert on mutual fund revenue streams.
Accrue revenue monthly and prepare accurate invoices for funds.
Deliver high-quality financial analysis, commentary, and variance reports.
Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in reconciliations and reporting.
Act as legal entity controller for certain regulated entities.
Support audit processes and compliance with regulatory obligations.
Contribute to Finance Transformation Programme initiatives to enhance efficiency and transparency.
Must-Have Skills:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
High attention to detail with excellent presentation skills.
