Description:
This part time fixed term role will assist current parish Safeguarding teams to transition to working as a team in the larger parish.
Main responsibilities
- To coordinate the implementation of existing Diocesan and National Safeguarding Procedures into the larger parish, ensuring successful transition to the new way of working.
- To regularly liaise and update the Diocesan Safeguarding Team and the FfM Transformation Manager with the transition status relating to safeguarding.
- To mentor any newly formed worship communities to advise and/or signpost them to appropriate resources and guidance during the transition period.
The ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Understands and is familiar with the Church of England Safeguarding Policy and Procedures
- Has project/change management experience
- Is flexible in their working arrangements (some meetings may require evening meetings)
- Is able to commute to the FfM Parishes and St James House Liverpool 1.
- Has excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office suite / Teams.
- Is able to work autonomously, is resilient and manages workload effectively and efficiently.
