MACHINE-A is a leading multi-brand fashion boutique known for curating cutting-edge contemporary and luxury designers. With a flagship boutique in Soho, an office in Fitzrovia, and a growing global online presence, we are at the forefront of progressive fashion retail. As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a Full-Time Sales Associate to join our London flagship store. This client-focused role involves cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with both in-store and international customers. You will represent MACHINE-A’s forward thinking ethos, offer unparalleled customer service, and contribute to achieving the store’s commercial goals.
The Role
Key Objectives:
Ensure smooth daily store operations and consistently high-level client experiences.
Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Maintain expert-level knowledge of all in-store designers and collections.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative and service-driven team culture.
Customer Service & Sales:
Deliver exceptional, personalised service aligned with MACHINE-A’s standards and values.
Build, manage, and update a client book, including international clients and VIPs.
Offer expert styling advice tailored to the MACHINE-A customer.
Drive sales by offering informed product recommendations based on trend and brand knowledge.
Support and participate in staff training and in-store styling presentations.
Collaborate with the team to maintain strong visual standards and store appeal.
Clienteling & Relationship Building:
Introduce MACHINE-A’s curated collections to both new and existing clients.
Foster lasting client relationships through follow-up and thoughtful aftersales support.
Maintain a proactive approach to client outreach and personalised service.
Stock & Brand Operations:
Act as a passionate and knowledgeable brand ambassador for MACHINE-A and its designers.
Ensure the shop floor is consistently well-stocked and organised.
Assist with deliveries, stock replenishment, and back-of-house organisation.
Maintain a clear understanding of stockroom layout.

Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in luxury or high-end fashion retail, particularly in ready-to-wear or avant-garde fashion.
Deep understanding of MACHINE-A’s customer base and brand DNA.
Existing client book is a plus, or strong potential to develop one quickly.
Training in clienteling or customer relationship development is highly beneficial.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English (other languages are a bonus).
Familiarity with Lightspeed or similar POS/inventory systems is advantageous.
