Are you a natural organiser with a flair for creativity, commercial thinking and attention to detail? Want to play a key role in booking events and growing income at one of the UK’s most vibrant arts centres? We’re looking for a Sales Development Officer, someone who can co-ordinate non-artistic hires across our venues and drive income through repeat and new business bringing energy, efficiency and ideas to expanding our hires and sales activity.

What You’ll Do
 

  • Coordinate and deliver non-artistic hires from first enquiry through to event day
  • Drive sales and achieve income targets
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients
  • Explore new revenue opportunities, from merchandising to bespoke packages
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting using Artifax and other systems
  • Ensure events meet all policies on safety, safeguarding and best practice
  • Represent Warwick Arts Centre’s welcoming, ambitious, and inclusive spirit
     

You’ll Bring
 

  • A proven track record in commercial sales and upselling, with experience delivering against ambitious targets
  • Strong event and project management skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and customer-first mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities—you're great at building lasting relationships
  • Superb organisational and time management skills, thriving under pressure
  • Tech confidence, with working knowledge of systems like Artifax and Spektrix
  • A fine eye for detail, and the flexibility to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment
