Description:
Ground Support Labs, a global leader in customer experience technology and digital signage solutions, is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join its team. The company specializes in designing and delivering cutting-edge digital engagement solutions, including LCD/LED displays, digital signage, augmented and virtual reality experiences, mobile technology, and interactive retail tools. Their solutions enhance the customer experience and drive revenue and loyalty across industries such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, financial services, DOOH, and government.
As a Sales Engineer, you will act as both a technical consultant and a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between client needs and Ground Support Labs’ innovative technology solutions. This role requires strong technical acumen, communication skills, and customer-facing experience. You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to design customized solutions, lead demonstrations, and support clients from concept through implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Account Executives to identify client requirements and design tailored digital signage solutions.
Conduct technical demos, presentations, and proof-of-concept deployments.
Respond to RFPs/RFIs and prepare technical documentation throughout the sales cycle.
Assess client site conditions, networking, and system integration needs.
Design and document end-to-end digital signage systems, including hardware, software, and connectivity.
Act as a technical liaison between clients and internal teams (Sales, Product, Engineering).
Support client onboarding and ensure smooth handoff to implementation/project teams.
Track and stay informed on industry innovations, trends, and competitive technologies.
Manage vendor relationships, including procurement and technical negotiations.
Qualifications – Required:
3–5+ years in pre-sales or technical sales (preferably in digital signage, AV/IT, or SaaS).
Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., BrightSign, Navori, Samsung MagicINFO).
Strong understanding of AV systems, media players, and display technologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
Ability to travel up to 30% as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with large-scale deployments in industries such as Retail, DOOH, or Airports.
Familiarity with LED signage hardware/software solutions.
Working knowledge of networking, IoT, and cloud-based infrastructure.
Understanding of API integrations and basic scripting.
Experience with indoor/outdoor kiosks and wayfinding technologies.
