Description:
Rubrik is seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer to provide technical leadership and business guidance to the UKI regional sales team. This role is responsible for designing fully integrated technology solutions, driving customer engagement, supporting sales cycles, and evangelizing Rubrik’s capabilities across Data Resilience, Observability, and Remediation.
The Sales Engineer will support revenue goals through innovative technical programs, hands-on solution design, and strong collaboration with account teams.
Provide technical direction and solution guidance to customers and internal teams.
Analyze, design, and develop fully integrated technology solutions.
Demonstrate expertise across Rubrik’s products, distributed systems, file systems, and competitive offerings.
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and senior executives.
Build strong relationships with account teams, partners, and clients.
Lead technical sales calls, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.
Qualify sales opportunities based on customer requirements, competition, budget, and decision-making process.
Deliver technical presentations to both technical stakeholders and senior management.
Drive architectural discussions and propose high-value, customer-ready solutions.
5–10 years of experience in sales engineering (ideally software, cloud, or data center environments).
Strong knowledge of cloud data management, backup/DR, cyber resilience, and data analytics.
Experience supporting CxO-level engagements.
Broad technical expertise across enterprise technology ecosystems.
Highly driven, energetic, and hands-on (“can-do” mentality).
Entrepreneurial mindset; strong problem-solving and execution skills.
Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
Smart, adaptable, and open-minded.
Strong work ethic and “get it done” attitude.
Ability to handle multiple calls, demos, and follow-up tasks daily.
