Job Description

The Sales Executive will carry out a range of administrative duties for and on behalf of the Accountancy Division, Practice Success Managers both internal and Field sales team in order to support them in the delivery of assigned targets, customer satisfaction and supporting understanding changing market dynamics (data collection)
This role is in place to ensure that all online administrative tasks are dealt with and completed in a timely manner, furthermore there will be a requirement to proactively contact customers for customer insight and data collation. This role plays a key role in supporting the sales team and provides an important link between the salesperson and the client. Reporting to sales manager executives, they work in a challenging and competitive environment. processing all sales-related paperwork.

 

Key Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Carry out a range of duties to support the successful running of the Sage Practice success team both One internal and field team

  • Provide accurate and timely information to the management team as and when required i.e. daily reporting as required, qualification and distribution of leads, of how many orders have been processed, collation of data set’s as required of contact how many cancellations have been processed, regular updates and actioning of cancelled direct debits

  • Quality control and verification of all orders and keeping a full and accurate audit trail for inbound sales

  • Manage customer correspondence into the sales department via the inboxes and action according to the departmental processes and guidelines

  • Take incoming calls from customers in relation to a wide variety of ie manning the inbound lines as a first point

  • Make outbound calls to customers as and when required in relation to enquires, data collection Sage One

  • Processing of all verified Sage One orders

  • Actively participate in ensuring all team-related processes are documented and updated in a timely manner
  • Offer cover for absent PSM’s to action customers’ requests as required

  • Proactively identify areas for efficiency improvements within the team

  • Ensure a seamless and excellent customer experience

  • Maintain an effective working relationship with the Sales, Loyalty and management teams

  • Take ownership for and resolve escalated queries and complaints within agreed timescales which arise from either service or support related issues within the team
