Description:

UKi Media & Events, an international leader in B2B publishing and event management, is seeking a Sales Manager to join its growing team based in Dorking, Surrey. The role focuses on driving commercial performance across two prominent international automotive B2B events held in Europe and North America. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional with a passion for business development, global event exposure, and strategic account management.

The Sales Manager will be entrusted with spearheading new business generation, maximizing sponsorship and stand revenues, managing key client accounts, and executing commercial strategies in collaboration with event and marketing leadership. This role offers autonomy, the ability to innovate, and career growth within a high-performing and international environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Drive daily sales operations and exemplify leadership through personal sales achievements

  • Develop and execute new business campaigns targeting stand and sponsorship revenue

  • Collaborate closely with the Event Director to implement commercial strategies

  • Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets of over £1 million

  • Execute a high volume of outbound calls, virtual meetings, and face-to-face interactions

  • Lead client retention initiatives through proactive rebooking and renewals

  • Ensure accurate CRM updates and pipeline reporting using Salesforce

Marketing & Strategy:

  • Support the creation of sales collateral, pitch decks, and lead generation strategies

  • Partner with the marketing team to attract qualified visitors and industry stakeholders

  • Personally manage high-profile industry partnerships and support campaign execution

Relationships & Representation:

  • Foster collaborative relationships with suppliers, industry associations, media, and sponsors

  • Represent the events and company with professionalism and market insight


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in exhibitions or event media

  • Proven ability to surpass sales targets, including £1m+ revenue through stand and sponsorship deals

  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new clients and closing high-value deals

  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Excel reporting

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong commercial thinking with a client-centric approach

  • Automotive sector experience is a plus

  • Must have the right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
