Description:
Wynne Consulting is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead its sales team for its class-leading software products specializing in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and ERP solutions. This role is crucial in driving growth across both new business acquisition and account management.
As the Sales Manager, you will design and implement a successful sales strategy that meets or exceeds sales targets for yourself and your team. The position involves working closely with the Managing Director to set personal and team sales goals, regularly tracking and reporting progress, and adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize performance.
You will be responsible for managing, coaching, and mentoring the sales team, fostering a competitive yet collaborative environment. Key tasks include developing individual sales quotas, assigning sales territories, providing detailed sales forecasts, and leading the team in complex or large bids. You will also oversee recruitment and training of new sales personnel as needed.
Ideal candidates will be articulate, confident communicators capable of building rapport with key decision-makers across medium and large organizations. You must have a proven consultative sales approach, excellent leadership capabilities, and strong experience in wholesale and retail distribution.
You will need to have a full driving licence and be proficient with Microsoft Office tools and CRM software.
Develop and execute sales strategies for both new business and account management teams.
Set and track sales goals in collaboration with the Managing Director.
Assess and improve current team processes and procedures.
Assign sales territories and individual quotas.
Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to sales team members.
Collaborate with senior sales staff on complex sales bids.
Foster a collaborative yet competitive team environment.
Assess individual team performance and recommend corrective actions.
Recruit, hire, and train new salespeople as required.
Competitive salary with on-target earnings (OTE) plus car allowance or car scheme option.

Standard 37-hour workweek: Monday to Thursday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Starting at 22 days holiday, increasing to 27 days.
