IC Resources is partnering with a leading and rapidly expanding manufacturer specializing in cutting-edge interconnect solutions designed for demanding aerospace and defence applications. The company is seeking a Sales Manager to spearhead growth and drive new business initiatives across the UK and international defence markets.
As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint within the defence and aerospace sectors. This position demands a strategic, technically proficient, and self-driven professional who can develop strong client relationships, identify new market opportunities, and deliver sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth: Develop, plan, and execute business development strategies that drive revenue growth in both established and emerging markets.
Market Analysis: Monitor and analyse market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with clients within the defence and aerospace industries.
Business Development: Generate and nurture a pipeline of new business prospects, managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal engineering, product, and management teams to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are successfully delivered.
Representation: Attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings as needed to promote the company’s capabilities and solutions.
Requirements:
A degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
Strong technical understanding of connectors and interconnect systems used in harsh environments.
Proven success in developing new business and managing complex sales processes within the defence or aerospace sectors.
Established professional network within the defence industry, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with key decision-makers.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally when required.
