Metsä Wood continues to invest and grow its position in the engineered wood, and as such we’re looking to develop our sales team. Previous experience of timber sales, or door manufacturing would be desirable, but not essential. Full training & support will be given on the job.

What do you get to do?

  • Liaising with customer Engineers / Procurement / Production teams / Technical enquiries
  • Following up of project based customer development trials
  • Sending out of samples / arranging trial deliveries
  • Responding to incoming enquiries and quotation preparation
  • Liaising with our Finnish colleagues directly on sales related issues
  • Liaising with UK & Finland’s logistics / sales service centre on deliveries to customers
  • Adhoc administration support to the Sales Director and others
  • Forecasting & budgeting responsibilities on monthly basis

You will learn extensively about the Kerto LVL end-use applications and will be challenged to develop target specific new business from day one.

  • A strong level of understanding of sales processes in B2B / Direct Sales
  • Must be willing to travel in the UK and Ireland for a few days per week
