Description:
A prestigious trade publisher of visual and illustrated books is currently recruiting a Sales Representative to join their UK sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised individual with a passion for publishing and a career focus in sales. You will report to the UK & International Sales Director and will play a key role in promoting front list titles and growing relationships with both physical and online trade book retailers.
Manage sales relationships with trade book retailers and online accounts across the UK.
Regularly present new titles and front list campaigns to store representatives.
Collaborate on the development and execution of promotional campaigns to boost visibility and sales of key titles.
Provide input into sales strategy and account management to maximize revenue opportunities.
Travel to accounts and industry events as needed to maintain and build strong customer relationships.
Prior experience in sales, ideally within publishing or a related industry.
Demonstrated passion for books and a long-term interest in building a sales career.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working in a hybrid role, ideally based in London.
Confident presenting and building rapport with retail buyers and industry contacts.
