Description:
MSCI Inc., a global leader in decision support tools and services for the investment community, is seeking an Asset Owner & Consultant (AOC) Sales Specialist to join its London team. This role will drive the adoption of MSCI’s full suite of solutions, including Index, Analytics, ESG, Real Estate, and Private Capital Solutions, by engaging with pension funds, insurance companies, central banks, foundations, and investment consultants across the UK & Ireland.
The position combines strategic account development with senior-level relationship management and consultative solution-selling. The successful candidate will help expand MSCI’s footprint in new accounts while deepening relationships with existing clients by aligning MSCI’s products, research, and tools with client investment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets through benchmark wins and displacements, driving long-term revenue growth.
Build new client relationships and strengthen partnerships with existing clients.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling across MSCI’s product range.
Position MSCI research, indexes, and tools with key institutional stakeholders.
Execute strategic account planning and provide consultative sales presentations.
Respond to detailed client inquiries regarding MSCI methodologies and solutions.
Maintain accurate client records and document key interactions.
Provide client-driven feedback to management, product development, and research teams.
Skills and Experience Required:
Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland asset owner and investment consultant ecosystem.
Familiarity with financial markets and trends in sustainable investing (ESG).
Demonstrated experience in institutional sales across multiple asset classes.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and time management skills.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or CFA designation a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a high-performance environment.
