Scholarships Office Manager

As Scholarships Office Manager you will undertake a range of organisational and administrative duties in the delivery of the financial support schemes the University attracts and disseminates. In this role you will liaise with external agents as well as other professional services and Divisions of the University in the provision of financial support via scholarships, bursaries and loans to students.

What will you be doing, day to day?

  • Ensuring the establishment and implementation of robust processes and procedures in the disbursement and management of scholarship funds
  • Provide advice on the most effective use of scholarship funds, such as supporting and developing bids for funding
  • Facilitating the regular and timely planning, coordination and management of annual scholarship review panels, ensuring the appropriate application and administrative procedures are in place
  • Management of a team of three staff across scholarships and foreign loans

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?

  • Professionally part-qualified CCAB or equivalent
  • Understanding of the current issues surrounding postgraduate students, especially funding and recruitment
  • Experience of preparing management reports and data analysis of trends
  • Leadership skills and the ability to work in a team
