School Caretaker

John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives – and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint a caretaker to join our dedicated and friendly team.

The role will entail ensuring that security and general maintenance is up to required standards throughout the school site working normal working hours from 7am to 10am. Start date mid-August.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Opening the school site when required
• Carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs and general DIY tasks
• Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of school grounds
• Supporting with setting up rooms and spaces for activities and events

Experience And Attributes

• Knowledge and Experience of maintaining a site
• Knowledge of alarm and security systems
• Excellent attention to detail
