St Ann’s School is the London Borough of Ealing’s only Special Secondary High School for young people aged 11-19 years with complex Profound to Severe Learning Difficulties. There are currently 110 students on roll.

St Ann’s is proud to be a UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting School and the whole school community actively promotes the rights of all young people as outlined in the United Nations Charter on the Rights of the Child. In March 2023, St. Ann’s was judged by Ofsted to be Outstanding. The school seeks to continuously improve so that we can achieve the best possible outcomes for our young people and our SMSAs are a highly valued and important part of St Ann’s large multidisciplinary team.

Main purpose of the role:

• Feeding and supporting students whilst eating in the classroom or canteen
• Interacting/playing with students whilst in the playground/school field
• Supporting students in learning activities in a range of contexts during the lunchtime period
• To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students within the school.
