Barron Williams Executive Search has been retained to recruit a Sector Sales Manager, Energy for a global leader in industrial automation software. The client provides cutting-edge solutions for the energy sector, as well as manufacturing and infrastructure, through its branded software platform that enables businesses to achieve greater efficiency, sustainability, and compliance.
The Energy Sector Sales Manager will report directly to the Sales Director and play a key role in driving both account management and new business development. The role covers the entire sales cycle, from engaging with utilities, grid operators, energy producers, and end users, to working with system integrators and technology partners to deliver scalable automation solutions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in positioning the company as the leading provider of energy automation software platforms in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver UK Energy sector sales targets in alignment with the company’s strategic growth plan.
Achieve revenue and margin KPIs from both new and existing accounts.
Develop tactical sales strategies for utilities, renewable energy, grid operators, and energy storage companies.
Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients and system integrator partners.
Increase sales revenues by leveraging the company’s strong reputation and competitive edge.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement tailored automation and digital transformation solutions.
Represent the business at industry events and conferences related to power automation, smart grids, and renewables.
