Security Engineer

DFP Services is expanding and seeking a skilled and versatile Fire & Security Engineer to join their team, covering the Birmingham area. This is a field-based role ideal for an independent and experienced professional who is confident in delivering top-quality installation and maintenance services across a broad range of systems.

As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and commissioning a wide variety of security and life-safety systems for residential, commercial, and institutional clients. Flexibility, technical skill, and the ability to manage time effectively on the road are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire alarm systems

• Service and support for CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems

• Handling nurse call and warden call systems within care and assisted-living environments

• Working independently to resolve on-site issues and complete service reports

• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and system reliability
