Security Vetting Delivery Manager

UKSV Delivery is the largest business area within UKSV and completes the core function in support of National Security for the Government. UKSV are currently going through a period of modernisation and transformation which requires strong leadership to guide staff through this period of change. UKSV Delivery is split into functional pillars allowing a centre of excellence where expertise and capability can focus and attain high performance.

The role of the Delivery Manager will lead a team of EO case assessors to ensure that vetting products are completed within specific time frames and with the required assurance. You will be expected to ensure the delivery team performance and engagement under your leadership is optimised to meet the quantitative and qualitative customer requirements.

  • Optimising use of quality assurance data, Contributing to the successful delivery of the UKSV Audit and Assurance Framework by undertaking Risk and content-based Quality Checks.

Responsibilities

As a Delivery Manager within UK Security Vetting, we are looking for people who have the following expertise and attributes:

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills; able to identify and support the development needs of themselves and others.

 

  • Strong dedication to quality assurance, taking a proactive approach to improving customer experience, with the ability to critically analyse products and processes including MI, to identify areas for action, reducing official and customer error and the subsequent costs to the department

 

  • Excellent people engagement skills and a focus on building collaborative working relationships, able to influence and negotiate with stakeholders confidently.

 

  • Ability to work flexibly to meet changing priorities, managing a diverse workload and optimising resources to meet current and future demand.
