IC Resources is partnering with an international client in search of a Semiconductor Process Architect to join their advanced wafer fabrication team in Ipswich. This is a key technical leadership position, ideal for professionals with strong expertise in semiconductor processes and a proven track record in managing complex development projects.

As a Semiconductor Process Architect, you will be responsible for developing robust processes within the wafer fab, ensuring process reliability, efficiency, and scalability to meet the business’s evolving technical roadmap. You will lead structured problem resolutions, oversee critical process development programs, and establish strategies to advance semiconductor manufacturing performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimise semiconductor wafer fab processes to achieve operational excellence.

• Take ownership of overall process performance within assigned project responsibilities.

• Lead structured problem-solving initiatives to resolve complex manufacturing challenges.

• Define and implement process strategies aligned with the company’s technical roadmap.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Candidate Profile / Requirements:

• Strong background and hands-on expertise in semiconductor wafer fab processes.

• Proven experience in project management with successful delivery of development programs on schedule.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

• Knowledge of III-V or InP semiconductor technologies is highly desirable.

• Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
