Elevate Supply is seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant for a Key Stage 1 classroom in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harborne, Birmingham. This full-time, long-term role offers the chance to support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) on a one-to-one and small group basis, ensuring they thrive both academically and emotionally.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning activities and provide tailored support that encourages engagement and positive behaviour. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach is essential, alongside the ability to build strong relationships with students and contribute to a nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group support to pupils with SEN in a KS1 setting

• Assist with adapting and delivering differentiated learning activities

• Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges

• Track and report on progress in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCO

• Encourage participation and foster inclusive classroom routines
