Description:
SAP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive – Enterprise to join its sales team in a hybrid role based in Macclesfield, UK. As a strategic leader and trusted advisor, the Account Executive acts as the "CEO of their accounts," managing end-to-end customer engagements, maximizing value, and driving the adoption of SAP’s comprehensive cloud solutions portfolio.
This role requires a deep understanding of customer business needs, the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, and the strategic vision to develop tailored solutions that deliver measurable value. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing SAP’s footprint by maintaining long-term relationships, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and lead all sales activities within assigned accounts, including software licenses and cloud subscriptions.
Develop strategic account plans, understand customer goals and competitive environments.
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders.
Drive demand generation through internal and partner channels.
Conduct White Space analysis to uncover new opportunities.
Utilize SAP’s complete solution stack including SaaS, AI, and LoB offerings.
Lead cross-functional account teams and manage complex sales cycles.
Maintain accurate pipeline and customer data within CRM systems.
Coordinate internal teams and align resources to support customer objectives.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in enterprise-level software or IT solutions sales.
Proven track record in leading large, complex sales cycles and managing renewals and expansions.
Strong negotiation skills with an ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Experience selling SaaS or cloud-based solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Fluent in Business English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead team-selling environments and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
Deep understanding of SAP’s Cloud Suite Portfolio, RISE and GROW with SAP.
Knowledge of SAP’s corporate strategy, cloud strategy, and industry-specific solutions.
Proficiency in customer engagement, sales forecasting, sales qualification, and competitive positioning.
