Senior Account Manager

Description:

A market-leading bakery ingredients manufacturer is seeking a Senior Account Manager to oversee large, multi-million manufacturing accounts across the UK. This role replaces a senior team member who is retiring after a long and distinguished career. The selected candidate will inherit strong accounts with significant growth potential through new product development (NPD), cross-selling, and range expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage large-scale manufacturing accounts across the UK.
• Identify opportunities for growth through NPD, cross-selling, and expanding product ranges.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Work with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Develop strategic account plans to maximize revenue and profitability.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in account management within the food ingredients or manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of bakery ingredients and their applications.
• Ability to manage multi-million-pound accounts with a strategic growth mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable with UK-wide travel to meet clients and develop business.
