Senior Accountant

Description:

Simpson Judge are Partnered with a payments services firm authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team based in the City of London.

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of a specific entity within the group. You will report on this entity's financial performance and present your findings to the Head of Accounting as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare management accounts to ensure compliance with UK regulations.
• Conduct regular reviews of financial statements, identify variances, and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain monthly accruals and provisions for upcoming costs.
• Review and oversee month-end activities and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit monthly and statutory annual reports, and support external audits.

Requirements:

• ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA Qualified
• Experience in a regulated financial services firm
