Description:
Own data modelling and DBT capabilities cross-functionally, as they look to expand internationally. You’ll be the go-to dbt expert in the team and upskill other people in the team.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the dbt setup, implementing best practices, optimizing queries, and ensuring the creation of robust, scalable models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on data modelling requirements and ensure consistency across the organisation.
- Mentor and upskill team members, promoting the value of dbt and fostering a culture of data excellence within the company.
- Provide expert guidance to improve data workflows, driving efficiency and scalability across all data processes.
What do you need?
- A background in Analytics Engineering, specifically data modelling.
- Tenure and experience in smaller-scale, high-growth environments are highly valued.
- Proven ability to manage complex models with significant data transformations
- Skilled in dbt, SQL, and ideally Snowflake.
- Exposure to programming (Python is a plus).
