Hollis, a leading international independent real estate consultancy, is seeking a talented Associate or Senior Associate to join their market-leading Building Surveying team in London City. The successful candidate will focus on professional building surveying instructions including leasehold technical advice (LTA's), dilapidations, reinstatement cost assessments (RCA's), and contract administration across sectors such as industrial, offices, retail, and some residential. You will lead projects, manage the entire dilapidations process, oversee client care, site surveys, fee proposals, invoicing, and negotiations, and manage a lucrative client base. Mentoring junior surveyors and supporting the senior team in client growth and service development is also expected.

The role requires exceptional client care skills, teamwork, and a proactive approach to project management and service delivery enhancement.


Responsibilities

  • Manage building surveying projects including dilapidations, LTA's, RCA's, and contract administration.

  • Lead all stages of the dilapidations process: client care, site surveys, fee proposals, invoicing, and negotiations.

  • Maintain and grow an existing client base.

  • Mentor and support junior surveyors and assist with APC.

  • Support senior team and Directors in achieving client and service growth plans.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery.


Candidate Profile

  • MRICS qualified is essential.

  • Experience in dilapidations with negotiation skills or a strong interest in this area.

  • Ability to own and manage projects from start to finish, or eagerness to learn leadership skills.

  • Confident, enthusiastic, and motivated to progress.

  • Experience working with landlords and/or tenants.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and report-writing skills.

  • Experienced in commercial real estate sectors such as office, industrial, hospitality, and retail.
