Description:

James Chase is recruiting a Senior Back End Developer for an award-winning analytics company focused on optimizing business productivity and performance. This full-time hybrid role based in Crawley, West Sussex, requires an experienced Java developer who specializes in building robust, scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.

The developer will design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices with an emphasis on performance and maintainability. The role includes developing multi-threaded server-side applications in a Servlet-based web environment and optimizing systems for speed, scalability, and security.

Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities also include contributing to architectural decisions, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers to foster growth within the team.
