Senior Bookkeeper

I am working with a modern, forward thinking firm of Accountants based near Ashford. They have a real focus on delivering outstanding service to their clients and have grown significantly as a result - mainly through recommendations and work of mouth. As a result of this continued success, they are now looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their growing team.

In this role you will oversee a small team and your responsibilities will include:

• Tracking work and ensuring that it is being completed within deadlines
• Supporting the team and dealing with queries relating to bookkeeping and payroll
• Working with clients to ensure all relevant information/documentation is provided and helping with any queries
• Doing weekly/monthly bookkeeping for clients as required – including reconciling the trial balance
• Preparing VAT and CIS returns
