Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult is recruiting a SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, based at Blyth, to play a key role in our development at a highly exciting time for the business and the renewables sector.
We are open to flexible hours or part-time workers of 30 hours or more.
What will I do?
- Lead the development of commercial opportunities for ORE Catapult’s R&D facilities (full scale blade test, mechanical and electrical component testing)
- Develop industrially applicable research proposals with partners to accelerate offshore renewables.
- Provide strategic input for the marketing of products and services in offshore renewables markets.
- Lead on business development strategies for the current and future technology markets for offshore wind, using insights and external engagement.
- Represent ORE Catapult at key industry events.
What are we looking for?
- Business Development in technology, engineering, science etc
- Developing complex, first-of-a-kind solutions for clients
- Product / technology development and commercialisation
- Lead on business cases for investment in new capabilities
- Offshore wind / renewables industry experience preferred but not essential
