Senior C# And React Full Stack Developer

Description:

A Senior C# and React Full Stack Developer is needed for a London City-based Hedge Fund that operates across various financial markets, including energy, commodities, and equities. In addition to offering technology-powered data platforms, market access, and infrastructure services, they are looking to hire a Senior Developer to work closely with the trading desk to help build out a Greenfield Trading System. You will be involved in everything from architectural design to team leadership, development, and deployment.

This role will give you exposure to the front office, working in a FinTech-type delivery model, and using the latest technologies, including JavaScript, React.JS, and C#. The trading house builds applications not only for internal use but also sells their software as SaaS, providing you with a unique opportunity to work with both internal traders and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, code, and test all components of modern web applications.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of the technology created/maintained by the delivery team.
• Develop solutions to high standards that are maintainable, testable, and meet requirements.
• Adhere to development best practices and processes.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders (Front office).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and introduce innovative ideas to improve the system.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 6+ years of experience in designing and building event-driven user interfaces.
• 6+ years of experience designing and building back-end services in C# and React.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Typescript.
• Strong experience with SQL Server/MongoDB/Postgres SQL or equivalents.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Agile and scrum development methodologies.
• A methodical approach to software architecture and design.
• Experience leading a team is a plus.
