Senior Client Development Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced client development professional to join the award-winning team of a leading international law firm. You will be part of a Business Development team that is already well-established within the firm and which is respected by partners and other fee-earners for its high standards of service and the ideas and commitment it brings to business development activities. This role will work closely with the Director of BD, Marketing and Communications to develop and implement the firm's client strategy in line with the firm's ambition to deliver exceptional client service. With three direct reports, a Client Insights Manager and two Client Service Executives, the role holder will work closely with an International Billing Co-ordinator, Legal Technology Manager and Business Analyst, as well as Business Development colleagues, partners and associates globally to support client teams and to manage, service and grow strategic client relationships. You will lead the firm's Client Investment and Growth Client Programme to enhance the overall approach to managing strategic client relationships, and also the strategic intermediary management programme, to improve the firm's market reputation and grow profitable revenue. This will be a client facing role and the Senior Client Development Manager will be encouraged to have direct engagement with key client stakeholders at all levels, engaging with the client about their strategy, business issues and legal needs. Actively managing a small number of international relationships that offer significant growth potential, the Senior Client Development Manager will work with Client Relationship Partners to create ambitious growth plans and implement strategies to realise the potential of these relationships, enabling Partners and Associates to become more effective in their client development efforts through coaching, skill-building and sharing best practice. Essential requirements for the role of Senior Client Development Manager include experience of working at a senior level within a professional services environment and a proven track record in both targeting and opportunity management.
