Senior Clinic Co-ordinator

 

Description:

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Senior Clinic Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of insourced clinical services across our client sites in the UK. This role involves close collaboration with hospitals, consultants, nurses, and internal teams to ensure clinics are staffed appropriately, run efficiently, and meet high service standards.

You will play a key part in coordinating logistics, managing communications, and supporting the smooth execution of clinical activities, while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to continuous operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Liaise with hospitals to identify clinical requirements and schedule clinics accordingly.
  • Confirm staffing arrangements with hospitals, consultants, and nurses.
  • Organise travel and accommodation for clinical staff, ensuring alignment with policy and efficiency of travel.
  • Maintain accurate records of clinical staff availability.
  • Work closely with the clinical support team to match suitable staff to contracts.
  • Assist with contract changes and service updates, coordinating with operations and clinical governance teams as needed.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and coordinate necessary follow-up, including processing test results.
  • Support the implementation of service improvements in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
  • Represent Alliance Clinical Services professionally in all client interactions.
  • Participate in the on-call telephone rota, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Perform additional administrative and coordination tasks as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, coordinate logistics, and handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and produce clear, useful reports.
  • Resilient and able to handle challenges constructively.
  • Comfortable with working flexible hours and occasional travel.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in insourcing or a similar healthcare coordination role.
