Xpertise are currently on the search for a Senior Cloud Engineer who specialises in the Azure space.
Preferred candidates should possess extensive experience acquired within a Windows Infrastructure setting, accompanied by a more recent specialization (within the last 5 years) in Azure Cloud technologies. Additionally, experience within the Investment Banking, Asset Management, or Financial Services sectors would be exceedingly advantageous.
Required Experience:
- Establish and maintain secure, dependable, and scalable Azure infrastructure.
- Profound expertise in Microsoft Azure, M365, and MS Exchange.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaaC) principles.
- Hands-on proficiency with automation and monitoring tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions, etc.
- Implement DevOps practices with infrastructure as code using HashiCorp Terraform and Git.
- Scripting abilities, preferably in PowerShell.
- Configure, manage, and monitor Azure Cloud Adoption Framework technologies.
Key Skills:
- Extensive expertise in the Microsoft Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (Certified Azure Admin Associate).
- Over 5 years of specialized experience in Microsoft Azure technologies, with a focus on managing Microsoft Cloud and Exchange environments.
- DevOps experience with Terraform, Git, and Ansible.
- Expertise in identity and authentication solutions, encompassing Active Directory, ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services), Azure AD, Conditional Access, and SSO.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows Server and client operating systems and associated services (MCSA certification preferred).
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Proven experience in the deployment and implementation of Microsoft solutions.
- Experience in the financial services, IT services, or consulting sectors.
- Background in organizational transformation, particularly transitioning traditional services to Azure.
- Preferred experience gained within a high-intensity financial services environment.
