Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

We're working with a consumer business with an international reach, who are among the major players in their industry. They are an established yet growing SME business who are now a household name, boasting numerous high profile marketing campaigns over recent times.

They are now looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst on a permanent basis, reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance and with dotted lines into the Sales, Marketing and Commercial Directors. This will initially be a 9 month maternity contract, but with the distinct possibility of a permanent opportunity afterwards.

• Preparation and analysis of weekly flash trading and KPI reports to deliver insight to the Executive Management Team
• Delivering best in class analysis, reporting, insight and financial mentorship
• Deliver detailed analysis and recommendations for commercial deals, business decisions, and investment appraisals / business cases
• Deliver accurate financial planning, including budgeting, rolling forecasts and strategic long-range plans
• Responsible for margin and product analysis and providing ongoing insight into product category trends and margin optimisation opportunities

They're looking for a part-qualified (most likely finalist) ACCA / CIMA accountant with extensive commercial finance analysis and business partnering experience, ideally within the consumer / retail / space. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are absolutely essential, as is an advanced knowledge of Excel and related data tools. You MUST be available on 1 month or less notice!!
