The Post:

An opportunity has arisen for the role of Senior Networking Consultant to join our Networking team in supporting NHS National Services Scotland’s network as it transitions toward a cloud-first approach.

The Candidate:

As part of a team, principal responsibilities will be to:

• Maintain, update, upgrade and configure NHS National Scotland’s network, which supports in the region of 4,000 staff across twenty sites in Scotland and provides high resilience and availability for essential services.
• Lead on decisions regarding technology deployments from a technical perspective.
• Liaise with other disciplines and project teams to help them realise their requirements.
• Diagnose and correct networking issues.
• Help to determine the future strategy for NSS’s network, working with colleagues and managers to develop technologies and techniques for enabling the Organisation’s vision.
• Act as a technical lead for other members of the team.
