Stride Resource Management is representing a global insurance broking giant in their search for an experienced Senior Corporate Account Handler to join a specialist team that manages some of the most complex and high-value cases in the UK insurance market. This role is a unique opportunity for a skilled insurance professional to deliver peak client service excellence, without the pressure of sales targets, focusing instead on building long-term client relationships and delivering the right solutions across multi-year agreements.
As a Senior Corporate Account Handler, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of specialist and corporate clients, working on highly complex insurance programmes with sums insured exceeding £1 billion. You will provide advisory-led broking across multiple insurance lines, including property, liabilities, vehicles, PI, marine, aviation, technology, drones, and other niche sectors. This is a client-facing role within a collaborative and supportive environment, offering personalised development plans tailored to your career aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain strong professional relationships with corporate and specialist clients.
Deliver tailored insurance solutions by analysing and interpreting complex client requirements.
Ensure the highest standards of service delivery, responding promptly to client needs and concerns.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain and enhance client service excellence.
Provide advisory-led broking within a stable client base, often under 3–5 year agreements.
Stay updated with market trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice.
Candidate Profile / Requirements:
Proven experience in corporate insurance account handling, ideally within a brokerage environment.
Strong technical knowledge across multiple insurance products and markets.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients.
Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data and presenting clear solutions.
ACII qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
Dedication to delivering client service excellence within a high-value, complex portfolio.
